Music and Literacy

We have just completed a wonderful program with grade 5's and 6,s at one of our schools. The children looked at literacy including the use of rhetoric devices and description through songwriting and there were some amazing outcomes. The engagement level of the students was incredible with teachers commenting on how even the reluctant writers were keen to create lyrics.
